Allett 17" QC De-Thatcher Cartridge Description
The most aggressive cartridge is the 17" Dethatcher, which uses wider-spaced, thicker tines to pierce the soil up to a maximum depth of 6mm.
The Dethatcher effectively removes the thickest thatch layers from severely overgrown lawns.
The machine vigorously penetrates the soil's surface in order to collect and remove layers of thatch such dead grass and leaves, plant stolons, and weed development. As soon as this is eliminated, lawns grow thicker, healthier, and more lush because they are less susceptible to disease. On lawns where there is a larger risk of disease, moss shouldn't be permitted to grow.
Only when there sufficient moisture available for the lawn to recuperate in late Spring or Autumn can excessive thatch and moss be removed. More water, air, and nutrients can reach the grass roots thanks to this increased soil penetration. The dethatcher cartridge removes twice as much material as the Verticut cartridge.
