Honda FF300 Tiller Description
Honda’s FF300 is the entry level machine in their top line counter-rotating Tiller range. Designed to handle heavy duty cultivation tasks in larger gardens, it’s perfect for everything ranging from domestic garden maintenance to demanding commercial soil cultivation, even if faced with heavily compacted soil that would cause lesser tillers to struggle.
The FF300 comes with a set of four four-tooth, counter-rotating tiller blades, providing a working width of between 29cm and 45cm while the front wheels can be adjusted to five different positions to specify the desired tilling depth, giving this machine a considerable advantage over any conventional tiller.
The FF300’s power, is provided by Honda’s proven GXV57 four-stroke petrol engine, with overhead valves for smooth performance and enhanced fuel economy. This is matched to an advanced four-speed gearbox featuring three forward and one reverse gear, as well as differential lock for increased traction. A zero-degree turning circle makes manoeuvring up and down rows of narrowly planted crops significantly easier.
The two large rear wheels are fitted with high-grip tyres and a retractable front wheel to help with transportation, while an optional Ridger tool (available separately) adds to the versatility versatility and helps to save time and effort when planting or earthing-up potatoes, tubers and other crops.
