This commitment to excellence is exemplified in the Honda HRX476VY which, with a 19" (47cm) cutting deck, is ideal for larger gardens.

The HRX476VY, part of Honda’s Core range, is variable self-propelled, removing the effort of manually pushing the mower. This model is fitted with Honda’s SMART Drive® technology that allows fingertip control of the hydrostatic drive via simple, handle mounted paddles. Power is provided by Honda’s proven GCV160 four-stroke engine which features Honda’s automatic choke system to ensure easy starting in all weathers.

The Honda HRX476VY, as one of Honda’s Core range of machines, enjoys features not found on their entry level Izy range.  As well as the immensely durable Polystrong composite plastic cutting deck which is corrosion resistant and will not become brittle when exposed to sunlight, the HRX476VY features Honda’s Roto-stop® system that allows you to stop the blades while leaving the engine running to move the mower or empty the grass bag. A key feature of the HRX476VY is the Versamow™ variable system that allows you to switch between cutting & collecting and mulching via a simple lever (for more on mulching see our Guide to Mulching). Durability is further ensured through Honda's innovative design of the cutting blades which have been designed to bend and not break in the event that an obstacle is hit. This greatly reduces the likelihood of damage to the mower should such an incident occur.

Cutting height adjustment is via a single centrally mounted lever with seven positions from 25mm-789mm while Honda's grass bag is designed to maximise airflow and works with the blades to maximise grass collection efficiency. With a dry weight of 44kg and easy fold steel handles the HRX476VY is simple to store

Roto-stop - When you release the handle the engine continues but the blades stop - so you can leave the engine running to empty the grass bag or drive across gravel paths with complete safety and peace of mind.

SMART Drive - Precise ground speed control with a thumb/palm operated adjustable SMART Drive lever. 

Folding handle - Quick and simple folding for easy storage and transporting.

Versamow™ variable mulching - With a single lever, Honda’s Versamow™ system will either collect the grass cuttings into the bag or finely shred and blow them down into the lawn to create a natural fertiliser or the perfect mix of both.

One-hand height adjust - Handle with thumb release for quick, comfortable one-handed cut height adjustment.

Polystrong deck - Durable and rust-proof polypropylene deck allows us to design in extra strength while reducing the overall weight. 

8.5" Wheels - New larger diameter wheels roll easily and improve handling.

Engine  - 160cc Honda 4-stroke engine gives high power and torque with renowned durability, also the auto choke system ensures the perfect start even in cold weather.
